The CRRF will hold events in four Canadian cities between January and March 2017 for students in grades 11 and 12. We will invite 100 students from each city to engage and network with fellow young people who are interested in the future of Canada and committed to the elimination of racism and discrimination and the building of an inclusive and cohesive society that reflects Canada’s growing diversity.
Young people are vital to our national dialogue. Our goal is to empower youth throughout the country to become powerful agents of ongoing change. Indeed, we hope to continue and promote conversations with – and between – the students after the events are concluded. Young people are the future of Canada. Let’s use interesting topics and issues to bring them together and help them find commonalities, while addressing issues of racism and discrimination.
